BA Four-Year Degree Plan

The theatre program may be completed in four years or eight semesters. The four-year degree plan does not take into account dual credit or transfer credit that may be considered upon admission to the University. Your degree plan may vary due to availability of courses and course offerings. The theatre program is a non-comprehensive degree program, and a minor is required.

  • This degree is a non-comprehensive major and a minor or second major is required.
  • PHI 115 is highly suggested as it double counts towards Public Issues and towards the BA requirements.
  • HST 103 or 104 is highly suggest as it double counts towards Humanities and towards the BA requirements.

Tips for success

  • THE 130 and THE 150 should be taken as soon as possible as they are the prerequisites for a number of courses.
  • A number of courses are only offered every other semester or every other year. Please be mindful of these periodicities and visit your advisor often to stay on track.
