Fight Director's Canada

The department is developing a relationship with the Rapier Wit Studio (Toronto) and Fight Director's Canada (FDC), an accredited international training program. Receiving stage combat training prepares you for theatre, film and television combat. FDC holds a basic combat certification program at Rapier Wit each May.

Additionally, every other year the department works to sponsor a group trip to Toronto for participation in training and certification testing with FDC. Certification in stage combat can open up numerous opportunities and make you more notable to casting directors and agencies for future productions.
