Actor Training at Missouri State
The MSU Acting Program is a rigorous course of professional study. Graduates are exceptionally situated for a career as a professional actor in both stage and on-camera markets.
Showcase Success
Our Acting Showcase performers consistently garner a high rate of offers for representation, and alumni are meeting with phenomenal success. Of course we like to mention our more historic successes such as Kathleen Turner, John Goodman, and Tess Harper, but our more recent graduates are also taking the industry by storm; working on and off-Broadway, in Equity theatres, feature films, national commercials, daytime drama, and sitcoms. Most impressive is the consistency with which recent graduates work and thrive in the professional arena.
Alumni Events
During Showcase week we sponsor a number of wonderful events that involve Missouri State alumni. These events include an Alumni Reception, an Alumni Panel Discussion with emerging graduates, and several alumni driven industry workshops. If you are an MSU alum that would like to participate in any of these events, please contact the BFA Acting Coordinator.
