Taking your talent and technique to a higher level

The dance degree track maintains high standards in practical dance training, technique and composition work by emphasizing the often overlooked aspects of dance including business and teaching. You will explore your own personal interests and define your professional goals in the field of dance.

This comprehensive program provides advanced dance training in modern, ballet, jazz and tap.  Specialty courses are offered in partnering, improvisation, musical theatre styles and pointe. Performance opportunities include fall and spring dance concerts, dancing in musicals and productions at Missouri State, as well as local and regional productions.
