Master of Arts in Theatre
The Missouri State University Department of Theatre and Dance offers a Master of Arts in Theatre, which allows students to build off of their previous theatre degree and develop a unique perspective regarding theatre through an intensive graduate program.
Entrance Requirements
The Master of Arts in Theatre requires an undergraduate major in Theatre or a minimum of 24 hours in Theatre to demonstrate an adequate background for graduate work. A student may make up a deficiency with additional undergraduate courses, though such courses may not be counted toward the total requirements for the master's degree.
The student must also have a GPA of at least 3.00 for the last 60 hours of undergraduate work, submit a writing sample, and submit three letters of recommendation.
