Actor Training at Missouri State
The BFA Acting Program is a rigorous four year course of professional study. Graduates are exceptionally situated for a career as a professional actor in both stage and on-camera markets.
Our LA Showcase performers consistently garner a high rate of offers for representation. Alums are meeting with phenomenal success, a fact growing with each graduating class. Of course we like to mention our more historic successes such as Kathleen Turner, John Goodman, and Tess Harper, but our more recent graduates are taking the industry by storm; working on and off-Broadway, in Equity regional theatres, in feature films, national commercials, daytime drama, sitcoms, and as television hosts. Most impressive is the consistency with which graduates work and thrive in the professional arena.
During L.A. Showcase Week we sponsor a number of wonderful events that involve Missouri State alumni. These events include but are not limited to an Alumni Reception, an Alumni Panel Discussion with emerging graduates, and several alumni driven industry workshops. If you are an MSU alum that would like to participate in any of these events, please contact the BFA Acting Coordinator.
"Missouri State quietly houses one of the nation's top actor training programs."
