Theatre & Dance students may apply for the following departmental scholarships. In the spring, an announcement will be posted regarding the application process. Students will fill out an application with the Department of Theatre & Dance and scholarships will be awarded at the end of each school year.

In addition to the above scholarships, the department awards Activity Scholarships. Distribution amount and quantity is dependent upon the recommendation of area faculty. The department controls 16 $2,000 Regent/Activity Scholarships.
There are also six $2,000 scholarships associated with the department’s student theatre troupe, In-School Players. These are assigned via an audition process held in the Spring and require recipients to participate in In-School Players for a full year.
Some "out-of-state" tuition fee waivers are available. These are assigned by need and on the recommendation of the faculty. Students must reapply for fee waivers each semester, and must maintain a 3.0 GPA to qualify.

In addition to scholarships, students may be eligible for various loans and grants. Visit the Missouri State University Office of Student Financial Aid to explore these additional options.
Students should submit an FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) application to the Financial Aid office by April 1 to determine financial need for the following academic year.
