Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Performance Studies
The Missouri State University Department of Theatre and Dance offers a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theatre and Performance Studies, providing a well-rounded education for students who are interested in being on the cutting edge of innovative change and new thinking in the theatre world.
Degree Requirements
The Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Performance Studies shares the General Education Requirements with all Missouri State University students. In addition, students take 35-36 hours of major requirements in Theatre Reading and Writing, Acting and Directing, Theatre History, Design/Technology, Theory, Experimental Forms, and a Theatre Elective. Students also take 18 hours of course credits in another area for their Minor.
