Julie is originally from Reeds Spring, attended (S)MSU for 1 year in the Music Department before deciding to join the Air Force in 1979. She was stationed in Anchorage, AK, Honolulu, HI and Las Vegas, NV. After separating from the Air Force, Julie moved to Cambridge, MA where she met her husband of 22 years, Steven. Steven and Julie were married in 1985 and have four children, 21 year-old Stephen, 15 year-old Jessica, and 10 year-old twins, Nicholas and Daniel. Julie and her family lived in Cambridge, MA for over 20 years where Julie worked at a therapeutic day school for troubled adolescents for 15 years. In 2005, Julie and her family moved back to the Ozarks, settling in Springfield. Julie began working at MSU in April, 2006 for the Extended Campus and transferred to Theater and Dance in May 2008.
