Miss Julie Review

Congratulations to the cast and crew of Miss Julie, who earned a glowing review in the Springfield News-Leader!

Reviewer Larry Colins wrote of the production,

"Missouri State University opens its fall season with an intimate Balcony Theatre staging directed with restraint and cool objectivity by Telory Davies... Even near the end of the play, when Julie's 'No Way Out' dilemma invites the conventions of the traditional 'mad scene,' Lauren Sweetser makes her more dazed-and-confused than outright delirious... Andrew Venneman is effective as a low-key and soft-spoken Jean, a man whose dispassionate cockiness shows equal disdain for women of all classes."
