Incognito
Save the Date!!
Thursday October 8th at 7:30pm in Carrington Auditorium
Incognito written and performed by Michael Fosberg
FREE!!!
Writer/performer Michael Fosberg began a personal search for his biological father at age 34 that turns up a whole lot more. Armed with only the name of his father and the knowledge that he lived in the Detroit area two decades earlier, Fosberg makes a miraculous call which sets in motion a series of discoveries of family -- of secrets and lies, confrontation and reconciliation. Incognito balances humor and emotion as it deals with race, prejudice and life's difficult choices.
Michael Fosberg, a Chicago native, has been writing, acting, and directing for more than twenty-five years. He has performed in Chicago as an actor at the Steppenwolf & Goodman Theatres, having worked with directors Gary Sinise, John Malkovich, and Robert Falls. He received a Jeff Citation for Best Actor for his performance in Sam Shepard's Savage/Love. His memoir, Incognito, on which the play is based, will be published next fall by Chicago Review Press. The film company NUMBER 8 is currently making a documentary about his life and play.

Ticket Giveaway
This week, we're winning away THREE pairs of tickets to The Producers at the Landers Theatre for it's entire run, September 25th-October 11th (Thursdays-Saturdays at 7:30 PM; Sundays at 2:30 PM).
If you wish to enter in this giveaway, please reply to this e-mail OR send an e-mail to Matt Tassell (Tassell65456@Live.MissouriState.edu) with "The Producers" in the subject field by Thursday, September 24th, 2009 at 12:00 PM. You MUST include which date(s) you are available to see this show!
Book by Mel Brooks and Thomas Meehan. Music and lyrics by Mel Brooks. Outrageous, hilarious and off the wall, the winner of a record 12 Tony Awards, The Producers will have you holding your sides with laughter as Max Bialystock , a washed up Broadway producer, and Leo Bloom, a meek accountant who comes to do his books, sing and dance their way through the greatest show biz scam that ever there was. When Bloom casually notes that a producer could make more money on a show that failed, because the show's investors would never have to be paid back, Bialystock thinks up a plan to make them millions.
