Ticket Giveaway
This week, you can win two tickets to see Urban Bush Women at the Juanita K. Hammons Hall for the Performing Arts on Tuesday, February 10th, at 7:30 PM.
If you wish to enter in this giveaway, please send an e-mail to Matt Tassell (Tassell65456@MissouriState.edu) with "Urban Bush Women" in the subject field by Thursday, February 5th, 2009 at 11:30 AM.
This sassy, strong and relevant dance company, founded in 1984 by
choreographer Jawole Willa Jo Zollar, seeks to bring the untold and
under-told histories of disenfranchised people to light through dance.
They do this from a woman-centered perspective, as members of the
African Diaspora community, in order to create a more equitable balance
of power in the dance world and beyond.
