Louise holds an MFA from the University of Kansas and teaches design, drawing and rendering, costume construction, and stage makeup. Louise has designed costumes for over 110 shows, from Shakespeare to musicals, children’s shows to modern dance. She has designed for various types of theatres, including off-Broadway, regional, summer stock, dinner, and educational. Those productions include A Quality of Mercy at Playwright’s Horizons starring Kathy Bates, Tulsa Ballet’s The Nutcracker, and National Arts Theatre’s Caligula. She joins us from a seven-year position as primary draper at The Old Globe Theatre in San Diego where she worked on several shows that went to Broadway, and with a number of Tony winning designers, directors, and actors.
