The Missouri State University Department of Theatre and Dance offers a Bachelor of Science in Education for Theatre and Speech. This degree program gives students hands-on experience in Theatre, Speech, Forensics, Debate, and Education in the State of Missouri. Upon completion of this degree, students are eligible to receive their certification to teach in the State of Missouri.
Degree Requirements
The Bachelor of Science in Education for Theatre and Speech shares the General Education Requirements with all Missouri State University Students. In addition, students take additional hours of major requirements in Design/Technology, History, Acting, Speech, Forensics, Education, Psychology, Practicum/Field Experiences, Student Teaching, and a cumulative Final Portfolio.
