Design, Technology, & Management (BFA)
The Missouri State University Department of Theatre and Dance offers a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Design, Technology, & Management, providing students with a thorough opportunity to learn new theatrical techology and design skills and refine their craft in professional venues. In addition, students engage in hands-on Stage Management and several design positions within our production staff.
Auditions
In 2004, the Department of Theatre and Dance implemented a new admissions policy for the BFA in Design/Technology/Management. This degree program now requires an interview for acceptance into the major at the time of applying for admission to the university. In addition to applying to Missouri State University, you are required to submit a formal application to the department for an interview into the BFA in Design/Technology/Management program.

Degree Requirements
The Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting shares the General Education Requirements with all Missouri State University Students. In addition, students take additional hours of major requirements in Design (Drafting, Rendering, Stagecraft), Technology (Lighting Sound), Management, History, and a cumulative Final Portfolio.
