The Department of Theatre and Dance has developed several beneficial affiliations with theatre and dance organizations across the nation:

Fight Director's Canada

In addition to the stage combat training present in the curriculum, the Department of Theatre and Dance at Missouri State has a strong developing relationship with Rapier Wit Studio (Toronto) and Fight Director's Canada. An accredited international training program, FDC holds a basic combat certification program at Rapier Wit each May. Additionally, every other year the department works to sponsor a group trip to Toronto for participation in training and certification testing with FDC.
